About Sitting in the Power
Sitting in the Power is a foundational practice in mediumistic development. It involves sitting quietly in meditation, allowing yourself to blend with the higher vibrations of the spirit world.
During these sessions, Eileen will guide you through this beautiful practice, helping you to:

- Learn to work with your spirit guides
- Build confidence in your mediumistic abilities

- Is Sitting in the Power really free?
- Yes. Eileen offers it freely every week and nothing is charged. A donation is never expected, though if you would like to give something it is warmly received through the Summerland Trust.
- What time is it where I live?
- The session is at 10:30 UK time every Thursday. This page shows the start time converted to your own timezone just above, and the reminder emails include it too.
- Do I need any experience?
- No. It is open to everyone, whether you are completely new to spiritual development or have been sitting for years. You simply join the Zoom room, settle, and sit in the power with Eileen.
- How long does it last?
- Around an hour. Please join a few minutes early so you can settle before Eileen begins.
- How do I get the Zoom link?
- The link, meeting ID and passcode are on this page — just click Join Session when it is time. If you would like a reminder the day before and shortly before each session, add your email in the reminder box.
- Does it run every single week?
- Nearly always. It may not run when Eileen is away teaching a residential course; this page and the reminder emails always show the next confirmed date.
