My Spiritual Journey

My spiritual journey began in childhood, where I frequently kept the company of spirit children who were more real to me than those in the material world. I developed a great love of metaphysical poetry from an early age—a passion that continues to inspire my work today.

My first introduction to Spiritualism came at age 19 when I entered a Spiritualist church in my hometown of Aberdeen. The medium that evening was none other than the great Gordon Higginson. What I experienced during that demonstration changed the course and direction of my life, marking the crossing of a spiritual threshold.

Early in my journey I was encouraged by Gordon Higginson, and I have been blessed with the close friendship of Eric and Heather Hatton. Clark Findlay, nephew of Arthur Findlay, became my healing mentor. I count myself fortunate to have known and been touched by the lives of such remarkable people.

Through over 40 years of dedicated service, I have learned that mediumistic powers are not so much developed as they are revealed when we recognise our true nature as spiritual beings. I have been privileged to share this understanding through my teaching and through my book Mediumship: Touching the Stars.
